What is PRP?
Platelet Rich Plasma is a concentration of platelets in the blood that are crucial to wound healing. When used for skin rejuvenation, PRP releases growth factors into the skin to expedite the body’s own repair process and stimulate new collagen and elastin…up to 1000% more! (Disclaimer: Results may vary)

What does the procedure entail?
A small blood sample is taken from your own body and the PRP is separated from the other components. The PRP is then topically applied to the skin immediately followed by a micro-needling procedure. The micro-channels created by micro-needling provide direct pathways to the deeper layers of skin for optimal wound healing. After micro-needling, the remaining amount of PRP may be injected intra-dermally to cheeks, nasal-labial folds, marionette line, temples and lips for added volume and collagen production.

What Does it Treat? Micro-needling with PRP application is an ideal treatment for smoothing fine lines, wrinkles, and scars or even increasing plumpness and overall rejuvenation of the skin. It’s basically a super-charged version of our basic micro-needling treatment giving superior results in a shorter amount of time. (Disclaimer: Results may vary) After micro-needling, the remaining amount of PRP may be injected intra-dermally to cheeks, nasal-labial folds, marionette line, temples and lips for added volume and collagen production.

Safety
PRP does not pose any danger of allergy, hypersensitivity, or foreign-body reaction and it is a safe choice for many patients.Schedule your FREE consultation with Vanity to determine which procedure will be best for you!
